Santosh Subramanyam -- Movie Review

After a long time, in kollywood a descent family subject movie in the form of "Santosh Subramanyam" has released recently. It is the remake of telugu super hit "Bommarilu".The veteran director M.Raja and his brother actor Ravi join hands once again after "M.kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi". The film is a good family entertainer with rich star cast.

Santosh(Ravi) an MBA graduate was brought up under the guidance of his strict father and also a successful businessman Subramanyam (Prakash raj) . Right from childhood till now his father has taken all the important decisions of santosh's life. He never let his son to give his opinion even. This made santosh to take a bold decision that at least his career and his life partner is not binded upon his father's decision. So he started searching for a job as well as for a life partner with his friend's santhanam, premji and sathyan. Finally the Frustrated Santosh falls in love with Hasini (Genelia) a vibrant and innocent girl ( daughter of a middle class employee of a temple (Shayaji Shinde)). when Subramaniam comes to know about their love, Santosh requests him for a stay of Hasini in their house for a week, to prove his choice is right. How hasini tackles all santosh's family members and how the lovers unite in the end forms is the rest of the story.

The film is full of comedy... ravi and prakash raj has did all justification to their roles. One of the aspiring feature of the film is Genelia. she did an awesome job...sure, no one else could have played hasini's role better than her. Even the songs were good and devi prasad has scored good background music too. sadogapan ramesh and Kowsalya comes as a family member of santosh ...could have been used much better... other than this i am sure everyone will laugh & laugh Enjoy through out... A real nice summer treat !!! worthy to watch ;-) i would give 7 out of 10 for this movie...
